If SEGA is getting onto your back, just release it, stuff them. They should be honoured that your doing this as copying is the most sincerest form of flattery. I say release it, keep your details schtum about yourself going by a secret nickname.
If all else fails just call it Sonic Z or something. Then they can't slam the "Sonic X" bible on you :P
Interesting
The animation is pretty smooth in most places and your composition is excellent. Each frame presents a very clear idea. The only thing I would change is the music. The piece you used was just too grating. I think you would have been better served by using the original piece from Bleach rather than a remix which sounded, to me at least, amateur at best. A good attempt but I'd encourage you to look into other types of music when scoring the final product.

This must have taken atleast a month. Me and my friend watched this with our mouths open. THIS IS THE BEST FLASH EVER! And I mean it...well it's the best flash next to the Series of flash that your gonna make!
