The Game I've played the longest since StickRPG
And since SRPG2 STILL doesn't have a release date it might stay like that for a while. It seems strange that despite in terms of looks they are the most off-putting, espically now the world seems obsessed with graphics with the arrival of the 360 and the PS3 well on its way, that stick flashs are so popular on the internet. And the artists of these flashs deserve no critism for laziness since in general, a lot of stick flashs are quite entertaining. Of course you always has the idiot trying to use the stick theme to cover up the fact that they are lazy and wouldn't know the different between MX 2004 and a jam doughnut.
Terriotory WAR is a worms style game and the best of it's kind as far as I am aware. It doesn't try to parody or intimate Worms, its just that Worms is the most well known example. If I said it was like Hogs Of War a lot people wouldn't have a clue what I was on about.
At the start I mentioned it wins the crown of the most time I've played an ONLINE game (couldn't fit that in the top bar) . This is because, well it's got a 10 mission single player mode which ain't bad going, and although some of the missions are easier than accepting the fact that lemmings are stupid, it'll take more than 10 minutes to finish them. Also if you play it on the afroninja site you can play extra challenges and submit your score, which is a nice extra to see how your comparing to the rest of the world. In theory, there's an infinite amount of pleasure out of this as there's a feature which is sadly quite rare on NG: MULTIPLAYER
Up to 6 on 6 action (even the almighty PC version of worms can manage 8 on 8) with unlockable hats and maps (there's 6 of them!) and you can call your guys whatever you like.
Earlier I mentioned that it wasn't trying to intimate worms, well in a way it's improving worms. Rather than having the stress of a time bar, you have a movement bar limiting how far you can go (trust me it would be too easy other wise), also contains several weapons, easily the best is the grenade, which will take some time and skill to learn even if you've owned every worms game ever.
You may be asking "well if it's so great why does it only get a 8?" well my friend it's a one word answer: BUGS. Yes, first they were crawling under the keys of the worlds first computer and now they are sodding up good strategy games. You'll find yourself stopping in mid air, falling off levels your not even on and more! Luckily they don't happen all the time but we just can't give a 9 or 10 on something that contains such serious errors.
But that's not enough to totally ruin it, if you haven't fallen asleep yet then well done and I say give it a go if you're just browsing, and a definite yes if you're a worms fan.
