Great version!
This was a great version, but I've read the Brothers Grimm version and it ends happily, with the grandmother and LRRH, or Little Red Cap in that version, freed by the woodsman. I noticed some elements like the way of the needles and the way of the pins from The Story Of Grandmother by Paul Delarue. The ending where Red gets eaten pretty much happens in all versions except for the Grimm version and the David McPhail version. I noticed the replacement of the grandmother for the mother as the first victim of the wolf, which made an interesting change to the flow, not to mention the corset which, up until now, I have yet to see in a LRRH story. I loved your usage of the Saw theme at the end, generally making this story creepier. In a way I also like that you stayed away from the common theme of the LRRH stories: rape. I loved your more realistic predatory take on it. This was an all around pleasant viewing experience, and I wish you'd make more like it in the folk & fairy tale vein. Kudos!
