The best piece of flash I've ever seen.
This piece of art may simply be the most beautiful, stunning, and overall amazing flash that I have seen in awhile, if ever.
The first thing that caught my eye was, of course, the art. It was clean, stylistic, and animated well. The fact that it was animated throughout the entirety made it that much better. The anatomy and character design was amazing as well, and to see this level of proficiency conveyed in a flash is simply unheard of. The backgrounds were lush and thick, with much thought put into their design; a simple dark shadow here, and a sunny path there.
The sound, all though a bit crackly in places, was of top quality as well. The narrators voice was good, but I found it rather annoying when he tried to emulate Red Riding Hood's voice; a simple annoyance, however, nothing to take away from my enjoyment of this entire piece.
Now for the content; and nothing short of spectacular was portrayed within. It was an amazingly dark retake on an age old tale, and although straying farther from the roots of the original story then most, it still maintained the same feeling and idea of the original story. However, the way this story was manipulated was amazing, and, if one had not known it was Red Riding Hood, than one might have thought it completely original. The ending, although I am pained not to disclose it here, was completely surprising to me, which was a nice touch for such a wonderful piece of artwork.
I would also like to touch on the action scenes as well as the violence. It was done well, with nothing at all too graphic and with fast paced fighting; particularly in the scene of hunter vs. wolf. The action matched the story well, as both were told in a quick fashion befitting such a dark story.
Overall, I believe this is the best flash I have ever seen. No other flash has awed me to quite this level, and I wonder just how long and how much work was put into such a beast of a project. I have no qualms with this piece at all, which is definitely a rarity for me. Completely professional; completely amazing; perfect score.
Good job, good luck, and I definitely hope to see more from you soon.
