That was a bit stupid.
There were flaws to your little story.
1) If the girl had mastered the strength to break an iron sheet of metal, she should be strong enough to kill the wolf on her own. Strong and tough enough on both accounts. The wolf would have had little chance to survive. I can see if she was ultimately scared and tired, her reflexes would be less than his. But still... he wouldn't have an easy meal.
2) Blood and flesh of humans has a distinctive smell that any human can recognize. The smell is so nautious to any human that it will cause them to gag. You can't eat human flesh either.
3) It's understandable that the wolf was a wolf-man or a werewolf. But that wouldn't explain how the bird and cat were able to speak.
4) An enraged human can kill any beast, as humans are demons in their own right. That wolfman would have stood little chance for survival against that hunter for the second round.
5) Wolfs, even though savage carnivores, are actually not predators of human beings. Not even a wolf-man would want to hunt humans over weak and easy prey like young deer, sheep, and horse.
In short, wolves don't bother themselves with time and effort over a prey that is quite strong. They prefer something that's already dead or easy to kill.
I'm quite sure that wolfman would have rather ate that cat than to have bothered it's self with that girl.
I know you are trying to create a little scary horror. But you can't really horrorfy someone when you add in a little too much fantasy.
