LOL-lapalooza in low-quality form
If "Metal Gear Awesome" being at no. 1 in both ratings and ranks tell me anything, to this date, tells me anything, is that people love irony...and fast-paced comedy.
I agree with them: I don't want a high-quality flash cartoon with vigor in both depth in its purpose and the effort on the vast development of the project. I rather watch a rushed project with crappy art and lacking a centain value that would illuminate brilliant concepts to the curious minds...THAT'S FUNNY AS HELL!
As "meh" as its presentation, this flash is the same kind of humor that I always liked from a show called Harvey Birdman (Attorney at Law): sudden, nonsensical, and confusing. Watching it over and over, and the witty banter continues. I can't relate to the MGS situations this flash portrays (I used a strategy guide to look for Meryl's codec), but this flash makes accurate points on the game and the fans that played it. I applaud for its overrated popularity and yet somehow make an ugly-looking flash work as a brillaint satire.
