Reviews for "Metal Gear Awesome"
A confirmed, long-lasting winner!
Geeze, first time I saw that Flash was a week after it got on NG... and my D&D group is still frequently watching and/or alluding to it today! Hell, it even incited one of my pals to play MGS Twin Snakes on the 'Cube just 'cause he wanted to understand what the Flash was about.
Now, more 'bout the movie itself...
Graphics : They're not pretty, but it's alright because they're obviously intented to match the extremely quick rhythm of the storyline, since less details means we can keep on the fast pace without any problem.
Style : Telling the beginning of MGS1 while pinpointing the "flawed"/quirky/funny thingies of the game in a slapshot, absurd and far-thought way (all at a lightning speed) "rockors my boxors" all the way. Don't change anything to it.
Sound : Great acting in there, the same than in most of your projects. Each character is greatly exaggerated... which is good, considering it makes them easily recognizable in a very short amount of time. Quality is adequate for a no-budget movie, not pristine but not flawed either.
Violence : People die and there's blood and there's cut hands and there are "heart attacks". Great exaggerated perception of what MGS1 was on Playstation when there was no tranquilizer gun at all ; many people would die, that's all folks.
Interactivity : ...The "PLAY" and "REPLAY" buttons work as expected, I guess...
Humor : Many absurd one-liners (makes the movie extremely quotable at a D&D table) and the bigger-than-nature interpretation of MGS1 are sure winners. The whole "Snake is teh gay" stuff feels a bit out of the movie's context, however. Perhaps if Otacon had been there at all, it would have made more sense. Psycho Mantis' "you like meeeeen" saves the day, though.
Overall : Great, very great job. Without any doubt, I and many others desire MORE Metal Gear Awesome since MGS1 deserves the Egoraptor Treatment to its whole storyline!

Very Funny
Now that was pretty funny. Even though I've never played the games I've sorta got most of it. But you didn't need to play the games to find it kinda funny. All in all it was pretty good.
A Damn Funny Classic
An old favorite, Metal Gear Awesome is worth the attention. A spoof of a classic game, you see Metal Gear Solid as you have never seen it before, EXTREMELY FUNNY. Kudos Egoraptor.
