Reviews for "McDonald's videogame"

man is this hard, and addicting

Ohh 2016 is my farthest

Fast Food Zen

I reached a point where I could have probably gone on forever, and so I stopped. I quit at year 2145, after realizing watching the company sink to bankruptcy would be a long, boring experience.

Key to making it that long? Crop rotation. Well... Cow rotation.

Very amazing.

I got this game as far as December 2046. I got bored and ran the company into the ground.
It was sweet.
Thanks man.

A wonderfully crafted game, but it is flawed.

First of all, mad props. This game is absolutely amazing and addictive. But I am not here to just compliment it, as I do have some suggestions.

First of all, I want the "Fast Food" view totally changed. Instead, I suggest making it "Franchise" and showing a view of the country (world?) where you can place stores, upgrade them, and branch them out. Then, you only have to deal with individual stores during major alarm moments and it takes out some of the worst tedium that I felt (workers).

And speaking of alarms, I want that whole system overhauled. It seemed like some things ("The cistern is full!") were a lot more ignorable than others ("There is a sick cow!"). So what I say is that there should be color-coding. Green is a minor emergency, yellow a moderate, and red a major. It's that simple. Also, tack on an alarm to the "Agriculture Section" to warn about vacches, global warming, locals rebelling, et cetera.

Also for alarms, I would love to see major "crises" such as a corporate scandal, epidemics, locals rebelling, and the like.

Otherwise, keep up the great work.

END?

I read what a few other have written. But yes, i don't think there is necessarily an end. You are just suppost to end up broke. I reached day 2034 with $98,650 but by then i had used up all my pastures so there was no way of making any more hamburgers. So when the burgers ended i mearly, waiting for my demise. And slowly i sank into poverty (after firing and deactivating everything).

So it'd be nice to have an end. But besides that the game is wonderfull. Very well made, it is rather fun and complicated. And yes, the little "Whoah-ho" guys do get a bit tirying.

Dunno, just the ending bothered me. Maybe it could be a moral or something. A message of some sort.

But yes, good work.
