A great work of flash.
So, ever since they came out, especially in the beginning, I've been watching this flash over and over, not because it's popular, but the content of what is given inside. A flash that contains multiple agendas of past cartoon and movie characters that would never meet each other in a battle such as this.
I want to review this for one thing that many people seemed to be bothered with: graphics vs. music. I have to admit, the music, which is all originally done by the second author which I had forgotten the name (Sorry!), is superb. Many people, however, say that the graphics doesn't fit the quality with the music. Sure, it's true. BUT, not only does graphics matter, but the STYLE. It's Trapezoid's style that fits with this music. I would always try and imagine someone else making this song with his/her own flash with enhanced graphics and such, such as Littlefoot or so on. It's quite hard. Assuming that you listen to the song itself, it's humorous without doubt. Now, if you listen to this song, and view Trapezoid's flash at the same time, you've opened up a whole new book in your mind, and your views on this music that you try to imagine before totally changes with Trapezoid's style of animation. The same goes with Ebaums world dot com. It's the flow of the music that fits the style of his animation.
Rant over. Now, with the flash itself, well...it's great. I really didn't know who Mr. Rogers was until after, which greatly surpises me why he was chosen as the winner. Then again, it's the ultimate showdown, and that means every single super hero/villian is going to be there. I actually have this song stuck in my head after watching it multiple times, and this even reached some forums that I also go to as well. Nice work.
Wow!
Song = Great!
Storyline = Fantastic, a kick-a$$ and funny story...OMG...Mr. Rodgers...hilarious!
Great Job!!
{{Enjoyable}}
The song created specifically for this flash sounds extremely professional, it melts in very well with the flash itself which seems to use everything at its disposable to truly represent 'the ultimate showdown'.
Firstly, the animation is nice; for the year its executed very well, nothing feels too choppy or done poorly, with all this action happening on the screen at the one time its very comforting.
The premise for the flash itself is enough to get someone anxious to watch the flash, once it starts it doesn't disappoint by throwing out pop culture icons such as Monty Python's black knight, power rangers, Optimus Prime and Batman among many, many more.
Listening to the words helps to understand what's going on in the scenes and create the humour, though some other hidden jokes are in the flash which makes watching it again almost essential to get all the jokes.
Highly recommended to anyone who's ready to laugh, almost four years and this flash has stood the test of time.
made years ago and im STILL watching it
