Perfect.
Believe it or not there is a Mr. Rogers themed ride at an amusement park in pennsylvania, and I worked there (on the trolley) last summer. It is AWESOME to see Mr. Rogers come out victorious. I was shocked by how many random famous and not so famous characters managed to make it in at least as cameos.

Yes superman can die. Look up the "death of superman" comic, or more specifically the villan "doomsday". He gave superman a run for his money, and in the end killed him.
SOmeone sacrificed themselves to revive him in the end, but he was dead, as nothing hurt doomsday. Doomsday cleaned superman's clock.
