I would have loved to have seen Mario swallowed by a Yoshi and ripped his way out.

Even better
This was even better than the last one. You gave action to ALL the characters, instead of the "hero" of the story, in the action scenes. Plus you tied the story so well, that our emotions were intuned with the climax. please make you sequel soon!
P.S. If I achieve my goal of making some Mario flash games, you have inspired me.

Enough with the bad puns, let's get on with it.
Your sprite manipulation is fast, yet fluid in detail, so that's an instant ten. Sprites are awesome, but the plotline lacks that extra depth that makes a good storyline great- about an eight in Style. Sound is just plain WOW, Interactivity= next to nothing, (like all sprite movies, although the exploding brick was a nice touch,) Humor = none again, unless you find banannas funny, giving it a one.
Overall, wonderful in everything but a deep storyline, giving this submission a 9.
