Reviews for Mario VS. Sonic (VGDC)

This should not be number one.

This was the better Sonic vs. Mario movie, yes, and it was pretty good, AND it deserves a "4" average.

However, movies such as Xiao Xiao, Corporate Puppet, and Genyu's Blade deserve a 4.5 - 5 average.

Any mature or experienced flash animator, or even someone with enough movie knowledge to know that The Matrix is very mediocre know that Newgrounds users are generally immature idiots. I think that even Randy kknows that this movie doesn't deserve to be number 1 here.

The problem is - a bunch of people were warring over Xiao Xiao and Mini Putt (giving them zeros to lower their score) and Randy's front page poster status makes him "cool" in the eyes of the average 13 year old Newgrounds viewer.

This was a good effort, don't get me wrong, but this DEFINITELY does not deserve to be #1. But then again, Brutality is ugly and has TERRIBLE art and it's number 5.

There's no accounting for taste.

The great thing about the top 50 is whenever I get fed up with the crap thats being submitted everyday, I can go back and watch 1 or 2 of these to renew my faith in flash and such. Even if I have seen this countless times before, its still hellla tight (wait, what did I just say?!!)!

I thought that you did an excellent job keeping it in the 16 bit graphics, that was pretty cool. I really like your style, and hope you come out with more soon.

P.S. How did you get that background? did you do like screenshots, or did you draw the whole thing yourself? If you did draw it, i'd be quite impressed.
