I think that this kicked some serious ass!! Vgdc always has the coolest Flash Movies! I don't see why all yall peoples is playe-hating aagainst this movie.

Mario would never win.
I do believe mario should get fame and stuff for being the original he came out a decade before sonic. But I can't Say that lately mario has had any quality works come out. Mario 64 was ok but all these other games like mario kart 64 arent a whole lot better than the originals. Paper mario was gay!!! Sonic on the other hand has only improved as technology has gotten better. I do agree the original sonics were greatly entertaining but It's nice to see higher rez 3d sonic games and the speed of the game has increased rapidly too. ANyways back to movie. One thing I have learned from playing all those damn Mario games the only thing that mario ever has constant trouble defeating is spiked objects. They have cursed him since super mario bros. came out. And what is sonic basically a ball of spike. Mario would be thrashed is all I can say. But otherwise Good movie.

I have never made a flash movie and i never will be able to. I however can appreciate the fact that this movie took effort and time. Yes he used sprites but for godsakes does mario execute a krane kick in the video game?!!! So all you losers who have never made movies and are voting low saying "sux a$$ i could make a b3tt3r movie in 3 minutes i r l337" Please bite your toungue and shove something blunt up your ass. You really "hit the nail on the head" when you said that people would do it and they are. Its ashame too cause this movie is very deserving of the number 1 spot and i will continue to vote high for it. Please keep uo the great work

this was ok but definately not as good as the xioxaixox thingy's, god those rule, RULE. escpecially the game one, that has sweet graphics and it rules, this is just choppy fake cartoon.
a _GOOD_ vgdc movie?!
This is creative, original, and wildly inventive. A wonderful idea, done with wonderful execution. Not only are the two main characters well-animated (considering the limitations of emulated sprites), they interact well interchangeably with elements from both worlds. The sound is good, the choice of NPC's amusing, and both endings are quite amusing. Though I admit I rather liked the carnage of the Sonic ending better. ^_^ And there are mystery endings coming up soon? Great bonzai, there's a lot of good stuff in this movie! I can definitely see why this secured a current 4.07 vote and the #1 spot. Awesome work!
