This was highly amusing. I mean, even the violence had a lot of humor in it. The idea of a "warm-up" round sounds a bit unusual, but the movie as a whole was well-thought out.
And, of course, there's the endings. I love the idea of having the viewer choose the ending (and seeing the other endings, of course) and the endings themselves were quite hysterical. Mario crapping his pants, Sonic burnt, Kirby pissed, and megaman putting a whupping on the two.
You, Mr. Solem, have made a dream come true. I thank you for that.

This is indeed the best of all the "2 video game characters beat the shit out of eachother" movies, since it doesn't take sides and is damn funny.
