Can't believe it
Charlie the unicorn, a beloved newground classic, having to be front paged two years later because of some YouTube shinanigans?
I am a huge supporter of newgrounds, as it truley the hub of flash videos and internet fads. And yet, it does not recieve the recognition it deserves. I admit, YouTube is a fantastic place with a fantastic concept, but it is not the spot for flash videoes. Thats newgrounds territory.
That being said, when I get over being a newgrounds fanboy, I would say it does not hurt to know that this flash is gaining popularity again 2 years later. It has always been one of my favorites that I have linked new friends to. When I first saw it, and was playing Guild Wars I showed it to my guild and me and my teammate did nothing but sit on teamspeak and talk like those two unicorns for hours on end laughing our butts off. People spend months to produce flash videos only to provide a few minutes entertainment. I have probably directly and indirectly laughed at this flash for longer than it took to make it.
I would like the YouTubers to come over here though, and check out all of TypeQueen's work. I have. They are all unique in style, and while this is probably the best, the others are not without merit.
