Bah, this is sort of simplisitic, but the first thing of its sort I've seen here. =/ Use more encryption styling, like local letter pushing instead of key pushing. Pst me for more ideas for more advanced codes. =)

Clue 1) The last letter in the code (in this case, e) is very important. =P
Clue 2) Commas are for more than just catching your breath!
Clue 3) What goes up, must come down. =)
Clue 4) This is actually a simplified version of my more robust code, aptly named Coder.bas and lost somewhere on my harddrive. So if you want more of a challenge, do ask. =)
