Reviews for "Matt's Anime Tutorial"

very very good

i had an idea on how to draw anime but after going through your tutorial i find it to be easy, I am an art major so that could be why i find it simpler, but your step by step discription was very helpful to me, keep up the good work :) maybe for future tutorials you could add some music with a few options.

MattKaiser responds:

An art major getting help from a 14 year-old's work? I'm flattered. And I already commented on the music.

I have that same exact book!

The "How To Draw Anime & Game Characters" series, right?

Great job on this tutorial; you captured the basic necessities for drawing, and kept it quick and simple! The only problem I'd say I'd have with it is that it could've been a bit more detailed, but other than that it's great! Keep up the good work!

4/5

well good !

really amazing helped immensely now i draw and make amazing anime stuff ur a gr8 teacher kinda i guess ....... if ya no wot i mean. anywayz fanx for da help.

good...

i think ill keep this as one of my favorites...but you should have shown more like making a female body for example or the clothes.

unoriginal material

I just want to say that while the mechanics of the tutorial itself is well done, it really looks like you referenced Vol. 1 of "How to Draw Anime & Game Characters" by Tadashi Ozawa. For instance, the mini-tutorials on hair, hands, and feet, all have pictures that came from that book. Whether you redrew them or not, they are the same, close enough so that I don't think it's a coincidence. I rated this entry on how well I think it was made, not neccessarily the content of it, as I believe it's not all originally yours.
