A great work, but is it....funny?
I have noticed a lot of people calling this a masterpiece. I would call this a great work in terms of graphics, but for it to be classified as a funny cartoon and be....as it is pushes the envelope. Please let me state this: the graphics are stellar, the best I've ever seen. The characters are pretty cool guys, and I do notice a story, at least somewhat of one. My main issues were that this story is not very easy to notice, I had to think about the cartoon and watch it again before I understood the entire story. I also did not like the "humor" part of it. This is classified as a funny cartoon, but I honestly see a lot less humor than story. The part near the end with the boulders has been used in other cartoons and stuff before, so although that scene is funny it isn't AS funny because of its overuse. I am seriously looking forward to the next part, and I hope that you don't take my criticisms too hardly, they are merely the little points I'd like to see worked out. Toss in a few new funny moments, play with the story a bit, and I can guarantee you a 10 from me for part 2. Good job nonetheless!
Really Cool!
I normally dont reveiw but this was really good, I just had to say something! Good work, the sound was good, the graphics were awesome, and the animation was smooth! I has that nice movie feeling when you watch it. That's a good thing!
not that interesting....
graphics were good
style?great
sound? nice
violence... well not much violence only the eatin and the rocks + biting part so i put a 4
interactivity-not a game
humor-not much
but over all it was fantastic!
Really very impressive, quite inspiring.
The thing I liked most about this movie is the overall style, and the intense attention to detail. I think it inspired me to actually start paying more attention to my creations, with more passion. Although I'm not a huge fan of the Irish music, I can appreciate the look and sound that was intended. Well done!
As time goes by I'm more and more embarrassed by my tinny MIDI music, which is why I've been approaching real musicians lately.
The next Brackenwood movie will be scored by the same guy who did the music for the Tomb Raider games - Nathan McCree. Even if the animation sucks, the music is gonna rock :D
