It was good i really liked it
normally i only like stuff with violence or extremely crude humor but this was great the graphics and the characters were well drawn i watched it 4 times cause i thought it was so cool anyways keep it up cant wait to see the next one:)
Stunning graphics and all, but...
We can begin with the most obvious thing - the graphics. Man have you worked hard to create such a magical setting. All at newgrounds salute you for this, no doubt.
Yet even for the stunning colors, awesomely made things and all that, there were a few things missing, or that needed fixing. Few and big.
- As for a tale, it was far too long. Substance vs. length in time was not balanced, yet you kept me hanging because of the graphics. (Isn't that the Hollywood trademark..?)
- Your way of creating a living world was astounding, really, but I couldn't >feel< for the thin, orange "behemoth" sculking around, growling and (which I realized just in time, good job) looking for its baby behemoth. When feeling that the behemoth didn't fit in, I wasn't exactly thrilled when I saw the "goat boy" make his appearance. The surroundings simply outgrew the characters. Maybe not more thought, but maybe more characteristic design next time?
- The music could've been better, but then again, being so good at animating can't possibly make you equally as good in doing the audio? Still... music is your friend. Use it!
- Since I couldn't feel for the character design, I didn't really feel for all the hurting. It'd be more fun if goat boy (or little foot, if you will) would've had a more egoistic personality. The kind of early Warner Bros.-kind of egoistic characters.
- The highest climax of humor was - no doubt - when the farting chicken appeared. But it wasn't that high, more like a "hah, that's one funny, farting chicken-thingy!"-funny. By giving the animals in the world more facial expressions, I'd laugh a lot more - or at all, even. Respect for the chicken anyways, awesome idea. We're talking Final Fantasy-design here, only better.
All in all, you've spent time on it, no doubt. As much as I could feel with your enviromental animation, I can't give you 10 because of the lenght of it. It was too long with too little happening. If there'd be like a panorama over the forest instead of a "quest" (the behemoth searching for its child) I wouldn't have minded to just sit back and ejaculate in my mind, if you mind me saying.
Again, graphics - wow! But substance - :(
good imaginative piece of art
it was very creative, and there were some funny parts but i think you need more
