Wonderful movie but I have other issues...

I'd comment on your skills as an animator but I think working for Disney (and leaving by choice) speaks fully of your abilities. I'm just curious why you were allowed to exceed the standard 5 mb file size for a Newgrounds submission. Don't get me wrong great movie and everything but I feel that part of the mystique of submitting/evaluating flash on this site is a level playing field. And while Your experience as an animator is no doubt above and beyond that of anyone else here, I don't think that should give you preferrential treatment here among those who wish to be peers. I know I may come off as a tightwad when I say this but I feel that respect for the artform and the standard format for Newgrounds calls for a universal standard enforced not only by the owners, but by the community who wish to be equals. Maybe I'm the only person who noticed or is bothered by this but I've been with Newgrounds for years and I don't want to see it lean towards any form of favoritism that alienates young upstarts from seasoned pro's. Because young upstarts are what got this site to where it is.

p.s. Please don't take this as flaming I very much enjoy your work and hope you continue to submit!

This isn't a concession made just for me.. anybody who has something major to contribute can approach Tom and request an increase in their limit.. which is what I did. I did it once for Prowlies and had to politely request another increase for this one.

A good storyteller can make the audience really dislike the antagonist (bad guy.) Man, I really hate Bitey. What a punk!
My favorite part may be the flying jellyfish/flower/clam thing. And littleFoot is a little teddy bear!

Once again...

I have to compliment you on what you've started here. Let's break down my review shall we?

Graphics: 10 because that is some freaking sweet drawing skills you have there and to make it a flash is even better. Nice work.

Style: 10 because it's a new and unique style in it's own way. It's not bitty and it's very crisp and clear. And the story is good.

Sound: 10 because I could hear it better and it was also a bit more catchy in a celtic like way. Fits the scenery perfectly.

Violence: 8 for the fact that there isn't much fighting and not a lot of pain seen totally through it but there are some scenes where violence is involved.

Interactivity: 3 only because you only get a quailty menu. Sorry, not much interactivity there.

Humor: 10 Good god it's hillarious watching Bitey and Little Foot. I love it when little foot totally tweaks out on him and that look on Bitey was like "Shit" and Little foot went berzerk.

Overall: 9 And it's so close to a 10. Keep up the work and hopefully I can dish out that perfect 10 to you.
