Best type of any PC-based entertainment I've seen
Never, never, NEVER have I seen such a good looking flash. I mean, seriously. I have been very impressed by the array of amazing artists that we have here at NG but this one took my breath away - I cannot express just HOW MUCH this impressed me. The still styling of the backgrounds, the slick-smooth animation, and we're not just talking smooth animating... we're talking the way the camera dances around like it’s right in front of me.
Everything I’ve ever given a ‘5’ at NG I would give a ‘4’ to make the ‘5’ I gave for this one count; it deserves a new level of award.
The whole Brackenwood thing has always fascinated me, the believable forest planet with a range of completely unterrestrial creatures. I have so much respect for the creator to not only make this whole beautiful Bracky universe believable and complete, but to demonstrate it with such style and grace, with so much imagination and creativity poured into it to make something so perfect and absorbing as seen in this flash I cannot put into words. Why he is not employed by some games company or animation studio such as Pixar or Dreamworks to come up with concepts for movies or games I don’t know… this talent is absolutely amazing.
Mate, ditch your job and apply to these companies (maybe not in that order though, you’ll need money in the meantime). Screw whatever lack of qualifications you may not have (if you don’t have them) – this talent needs to be seen by the world, this series needs to grow into something more than a few minute long flashes that we get to see every few months or so – make them see your work.
People look back at great artists throughout history not necessarily for their artistic ability in terms of just good-looking things, but for their imagination and the way they express their ideas, for their own style. I honestly believe that you could go all the way given the chance, and I’m not just some 14 year old n00b kid that’s impressed with a pretty flash, I am a 23 year old philosophy student with 2 kids – I have seen a lot in the world including a whole plethora of flashes on the internet, I’m not new to the animation, NG or anything. You have raised the bar past that of highly talented people posting on NG to one of something far superior to that of people working in multi-billion dollar industries.
