Absolutely Stupendous
There's a good reason this is at the top of the list. You've demonstrated your amazing artistic talent in all of the Brackenwood videos, but what I'm more interested in is the sound. How did you do those sound effects? Did you record them yourself, or did you find them on the net? I'm starting work on a pretty big Flash project to submit to Newgrounds, but I need some good sound for it, and I'm curious if you have any suggestions on how to get high-quality sound effects.
Once again, this video totally blows me away. The other Brackenwood videos, while masterfully done in both art and sound, lacked the plot that this video possesses. I cannot wait for the next installment in Bitey's story. All 10's in Graphics, Style, and Sound. Only 1 point for violence, which is good - the less blood and gore the better, in my book. Interactivity gets an 8 for the snappy control menu, but docked points on account of its tendency to glitch. I normally don't give any higher than a 5 in Interactivity for videos. Humor got a 5 because it had mildly amusing content, but no slap-of-the-knee humor, which is FINE, since this movie didn't rely on humor. Overall, this movie gets a much-deserved 10/10, and 5/5.
I do have but ONE gripe, and this might only be on my end: when Bitey takes the rock in the ol' noggin, the sound came about a half-second before it actually hit. I'm not sure if you accidently streamed the sound, or if it's just my machine being slow.
Anyway, please let me know about the sounds - I'm really impressed with them!
