Reviews for "littleFoot"

A masterpiece

This is pretty much as far as a flash can be good in graphics with todays technology.. I'm speakless. a 10!!!!!!!!!!!

complete excellence

I didn't think I needed to write a review, this is so very excellent...then I saw the previous review and well, now I just have to. Yes, this is eye candy. However it is also beautifully plotted and "peopled" with unique characters with emotions and drives that we can instantly relate to (though in the case of Bitey, perhaps not completely sympathize with). There is no lack of plot here, and the forest is full of life. The lack of chatter is no loss in this movie, as the tension of the search for Littlefoot, and the very palpable threat that Bitey poses, and the anxiety of the Bigfoot's search & rescue is a complete story, with emotional as well as humorous payoff. The roaring was a perfect expression of the characters' communication. We can read into them whatever words we want, the emotion and intent is clear. I think this is as delightful as any short film (in any medium!) as I've ever seen. Perhaps the only thing that didn't quite fit was the final moments, which I know must be there to lead us to Bitey's next story...but didn't really need to be there. The ending without it was satisfying, and didn't benefit from the extension. I do so look forward to seeing more of these stories!!! I watch these about once a week!

You have potential, but you waste it on this.

First and foremost, I can tell you put a lot of devotion toward the animation in your movies. And, I love the Bitey character. He appeals to me, for some reason. However, everything else is so...empty. There is literally no storyline whatsoever. Not only that, but this plotless mess is so unecessarily drawn out to the point where you begin to just blankly stare at the screen, waiting for a moment that didn't seem like the last.

The voice acting is also very annoying, and quite repetitive. Leave the roaring to Chewbacca. Nice music though, although I hate how epic music starts to play 2 seconds after a punchline (in this case, Bitey getting hit with a rock). It makes no coherant sense. In certain parts, the music fits perfectly, but in others, that epic, Lord of the Rings-esc music makes little to no sense.

Speaking of which, I'd love to see you make something similar to Lord of the Rings, an epic fantasy movie, with an actual, albeit less drawn out plot. Yes, that would be truly great. This, though...this is just great effort put towards fancy animation and nothing else.

Excellent Flash Movie!

I really liked this flash animation. The only thing I found weird was sometimes the background was just white when it should of been forest..but then I saw that it could be concidered Artistic and I saw it as pretty cool. (P.S. I like to make films and I always have to think about the scenery is why it was weird to me)

Anyways the animation was awsome I like your use of shadows..maybe you can help me out with flash sometime.

I give you a 10/10

This is not just a flash movie....

This is a movie in it's own right! The whole story didn't need to be told, it was explained with action, however the best part of the movie was the graphics and the way they were used. The entire thing was a beautiful masterpiece of epic proportions. I hope to see more work from you that exceeds my expectations the way this one did.
