Reviews for "littleFoot"

Out of this World...

As usual, you responded to my review about Prowlies at the River; and at that moment I didn't think your flash could get any better. Here's the thing though, it did Haha. If I were you I'd like I don't know quite my job, and go freelance for a couple years to produce a full length Bitey; Oh yeah you already are Haha. I hope you end up releasing it because I will definitely buy it; not just for the animation quality but also I like the subtle humour. It's reminiscent of the Saturday morning cartoons I watched as a child; it's great! I'm sure that's what you were shooting for but anyways I'm afraid I've rambled on too long :).

yeah I'm always working on one Brackenwood or another.. I have about 4 more in rough storyboard format as .fla files here. They'll get done one at a time, now that I'm freelance. Thanks for the review too! Glad you liked it :)

Number 1.

This is just beautiful adam. I love it. I hope this stays at number one for ages, it deserves it, you deserve it.

I love watching bitey, and all the other characters, fatsacks, littlefoot and bigfoot, and the yuyu's. This is truly a new world you're making and I'd love to see more.

Good idea with the secrets too, im still looking for them! :)

Excellent

You sir, are an artist. I greatly appreciate all of your works I've seen, and this is the best yet.

I LOVE YOU BITEY! MARRY ME!!!

For real: Bitey is the bomb!! I really like your style of animation; it is like that cool old classic Brit style animation. Anyone who likes this would love :"when the wind blows"(I think that's the one). Anyway, I really have no criticism for you, and considering my record, that's uncanny. So, I just wish a major corporation would fund you so that your work becomes more widespread. I would seriously consider submitting your stuff to big entertainment groups if you haven't already.

And He's Done It AGAIN!!

Well Adamn you never fail to amaze and go above and beyond. I love how you take the flash medium and treat it like a disney feature animated film. Perfect score, once more.

Question though: How do you 'do' your grass? Do you draw it traditionally then scan/convert, or do it all in flash? Also, are there any books on special FX animation? Thanks in advance.

chluaid responds:

Heya, thanks for the review and the 10's :)
I draw everything directly into Flash with a Wacom 9x12 Graphics tablet, so I never use my scanner. The grass is drawn in layers, i.e. extreme foreground, foreground, mid, far mid, background, far background, etc.. same with most other elements like bushes, trees, mountains.

As for books on effects animation, I'm writing one.. so keep an eye on my site over the coming months.. Thanks again!
