Great action! Two world finally collide!
The animations are comprised of the digital character imagery of Mortal Kombat 3 and the 2D Sprites of Street Fighter Alpha and Street Fighter III. Some unique and custom frames were added to create varied attacks and new special movies that had not existed in either series.
Despite the differences of the two series, the removal of blood suited the movie quite nicely with such content kept to a minimal (other than some gore).
The backgrounds are borrowed from Capcom vs SNK 2 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy; some of the Trilogy stages are given unique and varied designs that make them appear refined and quite nice.
Some dynamic camera views make the movie even more appealing and add some dimension.
The story is subtle; yet, very intriguing. Two worlds that have existed since the early 90's finally come together. It works well.
The story is fleshed out through text dialogue taking place between several characters followed by an intense action sequence.
This is a great action movie with a subtle, yet very intriguing plot. The collision of two worlds has finally happened!
