Reviews for "MK vs. SF 2"

Awesome. Simply Awesome.

Both of your MK Vs. SF movies are incredible. I have a very hard time believing that MK Vs. SF was your first flash movie. Everything in these movies is great, but I have to question your judgement on some things.

1. Why did you use Scorpion's "Come Here!" sound effect from MKII, when it would have been better to use his more traditional "Get Over Here!" sound effect?

2. The MK characters use teleporting abilities quite frequently. You did it right with Raiden in the first one, but why have Scorpion teleporting so much? Scorpion's teleport is an attack move (and a bad one at that compared to some of his other moves.)

Anyway, now to shut up the idiots who can't understand the significane of the ending scene between Akuma and Ryu, here is clarification:

While it is true that Akuma killed his brother Gouken (Ryu's teacher) and the creator of the Ansatsuken style, Akuma holds no real animosity towards Ryu, aside from his dissapointment in Ryu's rejecting the Ansatsuken's Killing Intent, which Akuma embraced.

Akuma sees a lot of potential in Ryu to use Ansatsuken's full power like he feels it should be used, which is why he is always encouraging Ryu to take advantage of the Killing Intent to relize the power he could have.

Akuma's real goal in life is to have the opprotunity to fight someone as strong as he is, and Ryu is the best possible candidate. The ending scene is a symbol of respect between the two Ansatsuken warriors, and Akuma may have possibly done something like that so as to have a kind of trump card so he can persuade Ryu to fight another battle against him in the future.

So, there is no friendship between the fighters. Now, I hope nobody else posts something as brainless as that in their reviews. But, this is Newgrounds, and idiots are abound for every one person with a speck of intelligence.

Anyway, great movie, and I hope to see much more from you in the future.

Awesome, awesome, awesome...
Great animations and one of the if not the best fighting movie i've seen on ng
also it was one of the longest; i've seen plenty of fighting scenes from flashes that are lke 10 seconds long but yours really did it for me
the only thing that bothered me were the ridiculously slow hadokens but then again they weren't that bad because you incorporated some original ways to use the hadoken
