Ebaumsworld? Kill!

Ebaumsworld has got to go! Seriously! That site is only fitting for people who are complete n00bs to the internet. And sadly, there are too many people like that.
This movie shows roughly what ebaumsworld is all about: stealing content and making money off it. I swear, if I see any of my works there I would flood ebaumsworld with forum messages and e-mails to get it removed.
This movie, however, is nothing compared to the ebaum bashing stuff I see on YTMND.

Oh, and in response to whatever was said earlier by ebaumsworld fans: nothing on ebaumsworld is original work. And most of it isn't even submitted by the original authors. Whoever says Newgrounds makes money off of it's Flash portal may be right, but there are a few fundamental differences. One of them is the fact that Newgrounds is a site that has the priority of being a flash portal for everyone (making money is not the top priority). Also, all the works here are submitted by their original author (in contrary to ebaumsworld). Eric Bauman is an arrogant kid who thinks he's so very great and would probably brag about how great his site is to everyone in real life. You can really see that in the e-mails he sent to YTMND. Those e-mails were extremely hypocrite and arrogant.

Why hasn't anyone started a class action lawsuit?

Newgrounds, Something Awful, Albino Blacksheep(which was a moderated term in the Ebaum forums), Weebls Stuff, YTMND, Camp Chaos. All these sites have had material that was legally submitted to them pop up on Bauman's site without proper permission.

Technically, Bauman doesn't steal them himself, at least from what I gather. He has other people that will take someone else's hard work, claim it as their own, and then submit it to the site for a one time cash payment, all done behind the scenes so the public doesn't know who is actually submitting it.

For whatever reason, Bauman thinks this setup makes him teflon coated, as he didn't actually steal anything, he is now just an overly trusting character, subject to the honor code. However, if the people that have been wronged were actually so inclined, depending on the local specific legalities of intellectual property theft, they could ostensibly all get together and file a class action lawsuit to have a) their original work removed, and b) fair monetary reparations based on the estimated value of how much advertising income those works brought into the site(a good lawyer could probably get the group 100% of that estimate).

If he were better/more ethical at doing his research, and/or actually would have responded to requests to have illegal submissions removed, then he could have avoided leaving this opportunity wide open. I hope someone's getting ready to take advantage of it.

Yes Ebaum is making money off other peoples works. He maybe making money from the ads on his site, but what is ON his site makes people go to his site and see the ads. Thats how he is stealing from the owners.

Great Movie loved it. Hopefully Ebaums goes down.

Also he does "steal" them he throws his logo on pictures.
