Not a fountain of laughter, but good enough
I enjoyed it, but it felt a bit loose some places compared to the others.
Somehow you're stereotyping and repeating the characters instead of developing them. Next episode you must put more of the "kick" of the first episodes.

not one of your best flash movies
I usually enjoy your movies no matter how weird they are, infact they make them unique, I always enjoyed the burnt face man series but this one did not humor at all. I think the plot is getting more weirder each time.
Between good and great.
Though not your best work by any means, Burnt Face Man has always been one of the more entertaining series' submitted to Newgrounds. The character, like Salad Fingers, is totally fucked up while retaining a sense of innocence. Eh, in the case of Burnt Face Man, innocence may not be the right word. Nevertheless, this kind of charm is all but lost on this site. I applaud your efforts.
However, I think that it may be a good idea to give the series a bit of a rest after this one. Its downfall is the inconsistency of humour. One second you're treated to something freshly hilarious (or hilariously fresh) and the next I'm wondering if I've seen this before. As major as it is, that is at least the only issue I can see with the piece.
Keep in mind that I genuinely love your work, David. Nearly everything on your personal site is considered by me to be masterwork. Given the score I've rated BFM5, and the information that I find it to be your weakest submission, this review may very well be a roundabout compliment... made incredibly obvious.
