Reviews for "Wink: the Game"

You made my day...

Nothing is more satisfying then slamming one of those guys into my monitor screen. ;)

Good stuff.

Greatness

Ive played and watched all the wink cartoons and games and i have got to say this is the best one yet i pulled off 100% stealth even! anyways great game wink is one of my favorite NG characters make more cartoons and things

Good game, but I found a bug

Haven't read other reviews, so sorry if it's mentioned again. After getting the wind staff, and continuing on a bit, you have to jump back and forth from left to right from ledge to ledge to climb up the inside of a thin tower of sorts. When I got to the top, an enemy hit me, and we both fell. The enemy hit one of those ledges on the right side, as did both staves. I, however, fell through the wall. Then I could go a long way to the right through the wall... when I went back to the left, near the wall, I fell through the floor, and the screen blanked.

Whether or not anyone else will or has run into that, I don't know.
But, I only bothered to type this all out because the game is good, and so you deserve the option to leave it in or try to fix. Good feel and style, humor, good voicing. And well, lots of attack and movement options for variety, and once you get the hang of it, the controls are fairly easy.

I suppose that's a bug, but there's really nothing I can do about it. Well, I could probably think of some workaround, but the problem lies in using a virutal camera, coupled with a low framerate. You could try playing professional 3d games with a low framerate and weird things will start to happen too, especially with collision detection. It's a concern but it's not a priority, and while I could spend days, maybe weeks trying to fix this low framerate workaround, I think you might just have to get the standalone version, when I release that on my website. In the meantime, I'm adding some new stuff to the game that will warrant another go when the standalone is released.

yes, Yes, YES!

Finally! I've been waiting for this ever since I finished the demo, I guess you'd call it. It's heaps better now and Oh I can't wait for a sequel game!!! This could be made into a console game like AH! It's so slick and interesting! Keep up this great work of yours!

Okay game

fun....a bit addictive...but when you actually fight the dragon...you shouldn't have the eating princess thing. That's annoying.
