Great graphics and usage of that old-timey movie effect. Definetly deserves a portal award. Only little problem I really noticed is that the introduction sequence (with the production logo, etc.) could've used some background music.

I always enjoy this subject, and having a happy ending is always best. Just one quick concern though: the flyer said "Volunteers" He ain't gonna get paid for this. Livin' on love doesn't work. How do they survive?
Unique for sure... an instant classic
Not bad at all, certainly a unique style displayed here with more then competant animation skills displayed with some interesting shot ideas I haven't seen before around here.
It's certainly worthy of the frontpage, but the people who have got this rated the best on the portal are overly praising your work, just treating this like thier latest new candy... they'll grow bored and then overly priase something else in time which is the real injustice.
I only hope for you that this keeps a place in the top 50 which is what it truly deserves

omfg that was amazing, it blew my mind and brought a tear to my eye, the graphics were great and so was your unique style, i liked the fluidness when he turned. my only complaints are, when it skipped back to him working again it skipped a tiny little bit, and it changed beat half-way through the film which was hard to adjust too, i also didnt like the second song that was played when he changed, i feel it didnt match the beggining of the story and throws you off track. apart from that this film was definatly memoriable

This is an extremely meaningful and eye-opening submission. Most flash cartoon on newgrounds are or are meant to be funny, this one however was a story with a hidden meaning. It shows that you shouldn't live your life the same every single day with a shit routine, a shit job and a shit mood and that love is way more important than something that requires you to wake up early in the mornings. Well done Calco, nicely done =)
