Reviews for "Lord of the Clocks pt. 1a"
Could quite possibly the best clock movie to date!
Graphics - Strangeclock, you have the best drawing skills I have ever seen. You managed to make a very cartoony character style and put it in a very serious film. Also, the animation was very smooth and stylistic. Very LotR-esque.
Style - Clockday 2005, I wasn't expecting something like this. Most of the Clock Crew movie parodies aren't excellent. Don't get me wrong most of them would be about a 5 or a 6 in my book but yours is absolutly the best done CC movie parody.
Sound - This peice was acoustically stunning. In a CC movie I was expecting the typical 'microsoft sam' voice be the announcer and I was thouroughly and plesantly surprised when I heard a female human announcer. Although many diehard CC fans will frown upon this I believe that it boosted the sound score tremendously.
Violence - The violence in this peice was well orchestrated and well choreographed. Although the cartoony characters and the realistic blood created a bit of confusion, for me at least I doubt anyone else noticed these tiny nuances. But thats the way it is in most CC movies, so one might say you were just staying with your style.
Interactivity - None.
Humor - None.
Strangeclock, you may have created one of the best clock crew movies ever. No offense to Simon McClure and Bananna_Clock or RenagadeClock but your movie just had something to it that made me like it the most.
Let me just say that your movie desserves more than a 4.49/5.00, but we can thank the likes of the anti-clocks for that I guess.
