An antisocial interpretation
First off, excellent flash. This is very stylish and open to loads of interpretation, which in my book makes it art. The music is very ambient and suiting, and the colour scheme is top notch. A little weird, but that's what makes it so cool.
My general impression is that this film is about society at large. For all those familiar to JTHM, thats along my train of thought. Anyway, at the beginning, the man inserts that lightbulb into his wife's head, much like an idea. Eventually, a child is born to the same general social awarness as his father (and now mother) and thats when it starts to get a little weird. I would guess that the father is unhappy with the state of society, and is ultimatly why he kills himself. Anyway, he starts to realize he perpetuating the society which would lead me to believe is why he goes on the spree. If anyone knows why he might be angry at the society, that might be an interesting digression. Excellent work, i recommend everyone watch it twice.
