Reviews for "Autumn Tree"

Sad Endings Are Small Blessings

I have watched this probably 100 times. Although the events that surround it's motive are sad, it still must've been done in my opinion. All-in-all, this is an amazing flash, and also a concept that only society could've made.

Much Love.
Cryss. <3

My first ten, my first favorite, my first tragety.

I was nine when Columbine was attacked and I had to do a small paper on it when I was thirteen. I put so much into it after seeing this on the news and bulletins, that I got standing ovations. But, I mainly thought that the serious shorts were about real life issues and that no one would have the nerves and courage to actually make a flash about that tragety.

Everything is a ten, humor doesn't matter, there was NO humor.

Bottom line: If everyone saw this flash, it would change how we as people and young teenagers think about life and what we do to ourselves.

Columbine was a saddening cause, but I'm happy to see that someone can pass knowledge through it.

bl4zz1nkr0n1c is wrong and ignorant

*REVIEW NOT TARGETED AT FLASH MAKERS*

Well, bl4zz1nkr0n1c, I would believe you if you actually provided some proof that they were picked on enough to make them kill, however they were not. If you did ANY research at all you would realize that it was driven by many things, Klebold's depression, Eric's OCD, Eric's OCD medicine, their hate for society. By all means, Eric was picked on, and by all means I have NEVER blamed it on video games, or music, or anything like that. However, you take their hate for society like it was a result of bullying. It wasn't, they hated people just because of the way they acted, EVEN if they did nothing to them at all. I can relate to Eric Harris, I am OCD, I take Paxil for OCD, I get straight A(s), I even like the same damn music, Rammstein and KMFDM. Not only that, I want to join the Marine Corp, JUST LIKE HARRIS. Now if you don't believe I can relate, you can just fuck off, asshole. I also have burning hatred for certain groups of people, most of them being the same types that they hated. Some of these people have done nothing to me, I just hate them. Luckly, there is something inside me holding me back from doing what they did, a want for success in my life. While Eric was picked on, it was not every day, and Klebold wasn't picked on at all.

In fact, I bet you don't know a survivor of the COlumbine High School Massacre. It just so happens that on nationstates.net , there is a survivor of the Columbine Massacre in the forum. Google his name asshole, you can even add nationstates, you should get his thread on Columbine. His name is Makai Hall, he was shot in the knee, he was in the library. He was friends with Dylan Klebold, he discribed Dylan as being nice, and he also said that he was quite, but he NEVER got picked on. Eric did, however, but not as often as people say. So before you go and blame this on bullying, take a look at more than just one source of evidence. I know the site that you got that evidence from, and if you researched a little bit more on it, you would realize that MOST sites believe it went far beyond bullying, the history channel does too. They did a special on Columbine a while back.

" The FBI and its team of psychiatrists and psychologists have reached an entirely different conclusion.

The killers, in fact, laughed at petty school shooters. They bragged about dwarfing the carnage of the Oklahoma City bombing and originally scheduled their bloody performance for its anniversary. Klebold boasted on video about inflicting "the most deaths in U.S. history." Columbine was intended not primarily as a shooting at all, but as a bombing on a massive scale. If they hadn't been so bad at wiring the timers, the propane bombs they set in the cafeteria would have wiped out 600 people. After those bombs went off, they planned to gun down fleeing survivors. An explosive third act would follow, when their cars, packed with still more bombs, would rip through still more crowds, presumably of survivors, rescue workers, and reporters. The climax would be captured on live television. It wasn't just "fame" they were after—Agent Fuselier bristles at that trivializing term—they were gunning for devastating infamy on the historical scale of an Attila the Hun. Their vision was to create a nightmare so devastating and apocalyptic that the entire world would shudder at their power.

They set their sights on eclipsing the world's greatest mass murderers, but the media never saw past the choice of venue.

Klebold is easier to comprehend, a more familiar type. He was hotheaded, but depressive and suicidal. He blamed himself for his problems.

Harris is the challenge. He was sweet-faced and well-spoken. Adults, and even some other kids, described him as "nice." But Harris was cold, calculating, and homicidal. "Klebold was hurting inside while Harris wanted to hurt people," Fuselier says. Harris was not merely a troubled kid, the psychiatrists say, he was a psychopath."

Yeah, I'm sure some little asshole like you knows SO MUCH MORE THAN THE FBI AND PSYCHOLOGISTS.

Great

THis was excellent. The guy who made this movie really did a lot of research. Its also an intresting movie. However you didnt really finish it.You didnt show their suicide or the rest of the library massacre.Anyway thisi s simply excellent!

No, fuck YOU!

Are you freaking serious?! It's understandable WHY this happened, but it is in no way justifiable! I'm not gonna say these guys are monsters, either, because they're not. They were just pushed over the edge. I'm sure that everyone has really felt that they wanted to kill someone, really mean it, I'm saying, but that doesn't mean that they should. Some of the fault does belong with the kids, but it is in no way with the parents! Remember, these people have no idea of what's going on. Oh, and one more thing. The attack was planned, but once they got in the building they just shot people randomly. Most of the people who died didn't deserve it. In fact, I don't think anybody deserved to be killed that way.
