Reviews for "Battle for Gondor"

Pretty fair

It could have been better. The way they swung their swords was annoying. It looked like some semi retarded person was wielding it, it did not look convincing and especially not lethal. It was kind of pointless just to click buttons and whatch the computer controlled characters battle below, while your only control was to move the hero and slash those pointless peons.

It got boring. It wasn't a bad idea but could have been exectued better.

Good game but got a bug

I noticed a bug. On the ice level where you only have your strongest warriors, the people got stuck on an archer. They were attacking, but because he was actuarly in the same place as them they couldn't hit and the archer couldn't hit because he's well, an archer.
But otherwise, I liked it, it was quite addictive.

Asvegren responds:

Known bug. Just press Restart Level.

quite funny

gameplay: kinda fun, although you just kill some peons, buy new units and watch the "real" warriors fight

graphics: were not special, but in some way i liked them

units: more units would have been more fun, so it would be a real battle and not a little brawl between 10 units

hero: its boring that you can just attack peons that walk along the side and do....... nothing

moves of the units: i didnt liked that bowmans just stand on one spot and shoot all the time and the melee fighters always attack the "air" after some steps

not too bad, slow and loooong, but ok

this was a pretty good game, slow, and lacking on the graphx, but i like lotr so i pass it,

Pretty good

This was a pretty good game. Although the concept of building an army and sending it at some opposing force has been done before the whole kill the peon thing kinda added a bit more challenge to it, scince you have to kill them and call reinforcements. The music and death noises got VERY repetative, but it was pretty nice. However, it does set a bad name for the hero, letting hundreds die in his name while he sits around on the back lines slaughtering peons. =p But it was a good game.
