Reviews for "Battle for Gondor"

Boring

Fun for 5 minutes until you realize its more of a movie rather than a game.

that was soo hard

i made it to lvl 13 and i died
that was so damn hard
keep up the good work

Sorry

Well, I beat the whole game in 15 minutes. All the while I was bored out of my mind. All you do is wait for your guys to die and thne rebuy. There's no strategy. On the demon I lost and restarted and did the exact same thing, guess what I killed him! I mean i was glad, but no fun in it! Other than the whole idea and game play being $hit I will say "NICE JOB" Graphics: 10 SOUND: 10

Overall: 3/10 (I already told you why!)

I didn't like it. Yes, I read the instructions.

You haven't responded to any of your reviews, except for flaming 3 or 4 people who didn't read the instructions; I'm gone to assume you don't care what I think. So I'll keep it brief.

Sure, the graphics are top notch. The voice acting is also a nice touch. There are no bugs- the game runs flawlessly. It's the design of your game itself that I have issues with.

Firstly, I'm kind of sick of seeing Games of Gondor in front of everybody's new game. I hope this is a fad that goes away real soon.

Secondly, I understand you were going for the real time strategy type of game. However, I don't see the strategy involved in this game. On one hand you move your guy around and kill the peons in the most efficient manner possible, on the other hand you hit numbers to buy troops when they get killed. You can't buy any more than the original number of that troop than you had, so you can't really customize your army. You also have no control over the main fighting, which makes for a pretty poor system in an RTS. There's a real world version of this game that's been out for decades, it's called "rub your belly and pat your head."

Thirdly, why do you think so many people complain about not being able to run down with the hero and participate in the fight? Could it be...
1) All these people are idiots, and didn't read the instructions. They deserve to be told that they suck cock.
2) Your game design is fundamentally flawed, having an invisible barrier seperate the hero from going down to slay an archer that's an inch away demands a suspension of logic that the average player isn't willing to accept.

I don't know about you, but I'm going for option 2. Hope this helps. GC.

Well...

Its Not A bad game, at all times, but its just really boring since you cant actually fight anything, and overall the game is pretty slow. I managed to make it to like the 10th lvl and I got raped by the purple blade dude and the mage. I also found it gay that at every lvl, the orcs seem to get a new dude, and you (player) get one like every 3, and most times, the dude justs sucks...like the elf...
