crono trigger kicks ass! best RPG in SNES! very good on what u did, same as the game and alot of humor. and the music was great. this is the first one i've seen of the series but i will see more of ur work.

Humor Carries this Piece
The dialogue in this is simply brilliant. I absolutely love how you use actual dialogue from the game and mix in quips and jokes whenever appropriate. As for the jokes themselves, I don't think I've laughed so hard at a flash in a very long time. You sir, are a very funny guy. This is the first one of your series that I've seen, and I intend to watch the others now that I've been thoroughly amused.
That being said, I think a little more attention to detail would really push this flash into the "great" category. As it is, frankly, without the dialogue, this would have very little redeeming value. The sprites are choppy, the size is larger than it should be, and your graphics, particularly the dialogue boxes, are very... unprofessional.
Have you considered using the text boxes from the old Chrono Trigger game itself? That would certainly add a great degree of nostalgia, as well as improve the professionalism of the piece itself. Also, the font you're using seems completely out of place. I know there's a Chrono Trigger font available out there.
Finally, I'm sure a large part of the file size is due to the music. Perhaps, in the future, shorten the piece and loop it. This way, not only will the music file be smaller, but you'll have space to use several tracks (instead of the same one throughout most of the piece).
There's a lot of room for improvement, but you have a very good sense of humor which is far harder to develop than a keen sense for graphics, sound, or efficiency. So at least, you have more than a running start.
Well, I agree that my writing is my strongest feature. As for your suggestions...yes, the text has changed a few times and I do like the idea of the original text boxes. As for Music, I tend to screw up making sound loops and they always come out oddly.
But thank you for your honest criticism. I do like to get some critique as long as it's constructive.
