I have no Idea what to say about this... So instead I'll just tell you the basics...
Flash is an ANIMATION program, it is used mostly because it uses vector graphics to produce an optimized image. It is NOT (I repeat NOT) a video editor. It can be used to add effects to a video, or create web applications... Some people use it to make games, cartoons, cross OS applications, or Video effects using keying.
What you did:
-Recorded something on your webcam ... first upside down and out of focus.
-Recorded audio using a cheap mic ... I can understand you probably can't afford a good mic or audio card, but it was also out of sync with your video, which is the signature of someone who is inexperienced with compression.
-Published a video ... well, you had to in order to get it on here...
What you did wrong:
-I personally wouldn't submit something onto an internationally renouned website when I just bought a program. I strongly suggest you read up on the powers of actionscript, and Flash techniques (because most people don't seem to understand at first, Masking is your life and layers are your friend. and with shitloads of practice, so can tweening.)
-I use Photoshop CS 2. You may be able to find a cheap version of CS somewhere, or even PSP... Practice your drawing, learn to ink, and make yourself some real graphics.
-Audio: third party... if you're going to record, you need to learn the basics of editing, and invest in it. This once again requires time and practice.
-Video: Just don't... A good video editor can cost 300 dollars plus. I happen to use Final Cut HD, and I have a DV camera that I use to capture video. It turns out sub par in flash, so avoid importing it into flash at all costs.
Final words:
This hobby you've chosen CAN be fun. I enjoy Multimedia production as a hobby. However, if you search my profile you'll see that I haven't published anything yet. I have things out on the web, but they're video projects I did in my spare time (before I started making money). It takes lots of practice, time and effort. Sometimes you have to know when a project just isn't worth your time, and sometimes you need the patience of a starving dog to finish projects... But once you find your voice, I wish you luck.
