to corny for my taste.
The movie was good i guess but the ideas werent very originol and they story was kinda corny and seemd like it had been done befor. good animation though. Ill give you that.

beginning-sweet! rest of it-boring.
I thought the beginning of this flick was freakin' awesome. The rest of the film however lacked in substance. Why the hell does it go from a super fly honey kickin' sorcerer ass to a latin firecracker without any personality? It was actually pretty cool, but there wasn't anything to top the beginning, that's all. Good work.

You've already seen plenty of comments about how the film is riddled with cliches and the voice acting is sub-par. What I think has been neglected, however, is that this is just a pilot for a potential series. And I mean that in a bad way. Anime draws people in with mystery and intrigue-- yours, of course, is no exception. The problem, in my opinion, is that when it comes to flash animations that's often all we get. How long has "Fallen Angel" been on the top 50 list? Look at "Element" and "Merry Melony" too. Are these BAD flashes? No, not by any means. But none of them have yet materialized into a coherent story. The mystery and intrigue means absolutely nothing if it doesn't pay off. When you write Valhalla Knights 2 (assuming it's good), I'll overlook the cliches and give you a more deserving score. For now, however, I'm afraid I must base my score on the doubt that there will be a sequel.
