I kinda did that intentionally to see if you're paying attention. I'd gone back over that several times, but decided to leave it reversed.
nice
In the placements part of he tutorial, the fallen tree is under a rock...didnt make sence.
I dont think Falled is a word...maybe it is...dunno
haha, miner errors, but overall good
The rock is in front of the tree, not on top of it. You never actually see past the bottom of the trees back there, so the ground level needn't be completely organized. I'm not sure felled is a word either... I'll have to look over that...
Best tutorial I have ever seen
The sound effects are a very nice touch!
This is also the first tutorial I have ever learned anything from.
For quality settings, the property (not a function!) is _quality,
and can be set to "LOW", "MEDIUM", "HIGH", and "BEST".
For example: _root._quality = "LOW";
and just put that in a on(release) or whatever for a button and tadaa!!
Well thanks. I included a sound test if you wanna hear them all.
I spent like 2 hours before submitting this just trying to find a tutorial on making quality buttons. I finally decided I could add them later, and I've already gotten 2 responses pertaining to that particular question. I'll do a new version sometime soon... I need to get away from flash for a while...
w00t! i am the saviour!
Best tutorial i have ever seen! I will save this so i can use this when i start flash. Very nice effects.
Well hopefully it will help lots of people. It has beginner, moderate and advanced techniques. There's also easter eggs (did I forget to mention that?) hidden all around (there's 3 fully developed eggs and a few random eggs thrown in during the tutorial).
great work!
this is a very nice tutorial with nice sound and many things to learn. tho it is for newbies in flash, it's still a great submission. i'm sure that many will learn from this.
I'm here to inform and entertain. If I can do both I'm happy.
