Strangely nostalgic

My mum's Swedish, and this kind of reminds me of how at Christmas time when I was younger she used to tell me stories about tomte (I'm not sure if I spelt that right) and trolls and the like. It's pleasantly nostalgic in that respect. Anyway, other than that, and much like Gooberstory, it's a very pleasing and well-made animation. The music works particularly well (the sound would have gotten a nine had it not been for that slightly off-sounding horse neighing sound, which is quite understandable, really). Well done all around.

Great movie, but...

I have a problem... Um... During parts of the movie, the background visuals become... weird. For example, in some parts, the background is entirely red. I'll see Nim walking around with the dog nearby and the background is just entirely red. There are other areas where the background doesn't seem to fit properly... like seeing the night sky filled with stars instead of the inside of a cabin. Could anyone send me, like, an e-mail or something saying what could be wrong? Or if the author could explain, that'd be appreciated, too.

As for the rest of the movie... I really do like it over Gooberstory. I like all the weird creatures and the animation and especially the music. Good stuff.

Good

It was good, I liked it, but I think you could've worked more on a story perhaps, this was good, don't get me wrong, but I really like a catchy story, one that keeps you looking to the end, even if it were like 10 episodes or so.
