good idea
soap opera's with lamps is a cool idea but not especially funny in practice. the explosive amnesia was a good idea. it reminded me of futurama and in the end; isnt that all that matters?
Hmm....
What I don't understand is why you ignored the more obvious pun, "Days of Our Lights", seeing as how the cops and the child bulb weren't even lamps.

Animation kinda reminded me of Dr Katz style, its great. I also like the whole random theme of lamps and soaps.
