Reviews for "The Child That Smelt Odd"

whooee was that good

damn, david firth, i think that's the best thing you've ever done. i'm a big fan of your work, but this here flash exceeded the quality of previous flashes in just about every way i could think of. long, but not dragged out. humorous, but not lowbrow. it had just a hint of your trademark dark humor, but never crossed the line between funny and disturbing. incredible job. let's see more like it.

Very Good

Nice use of murddering old people. The british curse words were funny too. Make sure to make more people on fire because that was awesome.

Hmmm...

If you would please give me some answer, David, but this theme and message in a way portrays the book Fahrenheit 451. Not as in banning everything, but banning knowledge and turns the world into a living hell of numb citizens.

If you haven't read the story, I advice you do. It is a great piece of work and it is completely unique compared to others.

PS: If anyone else has read this book, please give me your thoughts because I truely believe this is a great film with some similarities that shouldn't be missed.

Nice

I usually get ready for the crap to get scared outa me from you. But this was still the oddness and meaningfulness you usually do, just without the freakout bit. It was long, but I was very entertained, and the name and everything else seemed to go with it. And I like how in the end, you made those people who ban things seem so stupid, with a world with no freedom. Was this for a short film festival of somekind?

Different... tangential

Hmm... David Firth... You're good at what you do, and you really should make films. It was well scripted, funny, and the guy at the old people's place reminded me of Peter Kay... hehe.
Keep it up! Just goes to show that not everything you do has to be completely twisted to be great :)
