Reviews for "Madness Depredation"

I agree

I agree with wax_beerman, your not killing the legacy however, you HAVE killed the legacy, Nothing like what it was when i first watched it.
Give it up, they aren't the same anymore.

Not up to par....

It was ok but out of al the series this was probably the worse. Part of what made Madness cool was that it was believable, it seemed like it was actually possible to pull off what he was doing. This one you just went overboard. But I'll give you some leeway, it's difficult to keep a series like this one going.

Krinkels, this series is getting too dark!

Alright, I know I gave Madness Apotheosis a worse score than this (I had valid reasons) I feel that apotheosis was more like madness than this. I'll get straight to the ratings.

GRAPHICS: 8
I gave this an eight rather than a five because you really outdid yourself this time. The protagonist (you need to start him fresh! he's getting nasty and disturbing looking), which I thought would look a little different than this, looks menacing to say the least. Jesus, well HE DOESN'T NEED TO BE PATCHED UP! HE'S FUCKING JESUS GOD DAMN IT! Tricky the clown wasn't any diff from before, but in madness 6 you gotta remember to make the top of his head blown off. The victims looked the same.

STYLE: 10
I give it a ten because you captured the darker, more satanic, more insane world of madness. You had him jumping 10-12 times his own height (is he no longer the guy who can wield a gun any more?), and he's able to fight with a flippin metal rod through him. Jesus has gone from the sherrif's lackey to the antagonist, it seems, and I'm not really sure if I should view that as saying it's good to have a focused enemy, or if I should look down apon it because he's fighting a major religious Icon. The "victims" played hardly any role this time through, as it seemed you were putting more effort into quality than quantity. I'm sorry, but when I watch madness I think "Guy has a gun, lots of other guys come in, he shoots them, lots of death", not "ZOMG HE DOOS BACK FLIP! ZOMG CLOWN HAVE HOLE IN HED LOLOLOLOLOLOLLOL OMG STFU".

SOUND: 8
Sound gets an 8 because the strange music captures the dark feeling very well, but it was confusing to say the least. The music didn't seem madness-y, rather than being upbeat, it was....scary.

VIOLENCE: 10
Do I fucking NEED a reason for this!?

INTERACTIVITY: 0
The play button doesn't count anymore.

HUMOR: 5
The agents lined up along the wall got a laugh outta me. Actually, no it didn't, but I IMAGINED laughing.

OVERALL: 7
In the end, I say good job in the presentation department, but the mood isn't enough like madness (make everyone fresh again!) and the ending was just plain stupid (let him win for once! WOULDN'T THAT BE DIFFERENT ENOUGH!? WELL!?)

Madness Combat 5 gets a 7 out of 10

I liked it yet it was not as good as the previous Madness Combats still good.

Clown kills you again!

The Madness series always offers an intense show and this one's no different. The frantic music accompanies the action well.
I don't like the Matrix slowdown bits though, they kind of piss me off. I think Apotheosis is the best of the series so far, but this is still very cool.
