Amazing piece of Flash Art.
I have watched the first (not reviewed it yet though) and this one is, in my opinion, an improvement, although there was not much of the first to improve. Child friendly (violence is typical "Looney Toons"style), with a good cuteness factor. The music is quite catchy and just as in the first, the graphics are VERY in synchrom with the music, like the slowing down and "fading out" effect once our feline hero get pushed by the rabbit gang and the music goes slightly slower (If this is actually frame by frame made... a 10 for graphics and style isn't frigging enough...)
Your group should try making flash cartoons for a living... really, they are that good. Now, on to the ratings.
Graphics: 10/10
Frame by Frame made (this alone is worth 7 points heck, 60 frames a second, the movie lasts a good 2 minutes, you do the math), cute style, crispy clear. If I could rate it higher than 10/10 I'd do it...
Sound: 10/10
Nice choice of song (Wish I could speak Korean so I'd knew what the lyrics meant) and how the graphics are synchronized to it... amazing...
Interactivity: 1/10
It is a movie. Not much interactivity needed. 1 point though for the start movie and skip intro button.
Style: 10/10
Very cute style, the fact that it is done Frame by Frame and that it is suitable for all audiences (heck I am 20 and still enjoyed it) easily nets it 10 points.
Violence: 2/10
There is a smal chase by animals and a single punch. Nothing special here, but it is suitable for all audiences.
Humor: 7/10
The things our hero goes through to simply bring a cake intact to our heroine is just humorous. How the "gang" bursts in is also worth of a thumbs up. It didn't make me fall down with laughter, but that is not the movies intention.
Overall: *NOT AN AVERAGE* 10/10
Made Frame by Frame, suitable for all audiences, catchy song, crispy clear and cute graphics. Definitely a go for me. I'd rather see my future kids watch this than something like the Teletubbies or something else mind-numbingly stupid.
Toiletbrush Tripweeds Rating:
Watch Movie, enjoy it. Art like this is fairly rare.
