Damn right I did. I have the will of a zen monk and the sexual fortitude of the the musical artist Sting. I am way too fucking hardcore to be fooled with this kind of stuff. I mean, you can't mess with a guy who used to be a member of several notable street gangs. I have mad street cred.

But that wasn't exactly "subliminal". That infers that it is below the threshold of conscious perception. This doesn't even qualify as "liminal" as that is still smething situated at your sensory threshold or barely noticable. What you did was beg and plead to vote five while blatantly fling fives in all directions while talking about five nonstop. You should attempt to actually attempt subiminal messaging in your flash, though, as I think the idea is sound enough.
