I don't think anything can match up (except for the original, which is timeless), not even the Mega Man parody you said you were a little worried about. Sure, they're both good, but yours is actually funny.

This is well.... one of the best parodies I've ever seen... and you picked a very good song to do it to... just work on the guitar.
Really great and original AYB spoof
Definitely one of (if not THE) best of the AYB "musicals".
The guitar parts sounded a bit poor though, but by using MIDI you also cleared all problems involving opyright issues.
Overall: Awesome.
