That was great! Fantastic! Encore, encore! There's so much I like about this movie. The graphics were fantastic. The characters were designed well and stayed true to Zero Wing. Using Queen with Zero Wing was a stroke of genius. The lyrics could use a little work, but that didn't stop me from laughing out loud. Hilarious movie worthy of the All Your Base genre page. Bravo!
Great take on a classic 'net cult hit
I still remember the first time I saw the first AYB flash on NG a few years back. It is still a great laugh to this day for me. I'm at the point where I can damn near recite the words from memory. This is truely a wonderful knock-off(or whatever you wish to call it)of that old animation!

You lost me a little bit on the 30 second guitar solo...me being a musician and all...but if I wanted to judge based on the display of instrumental technique with a straight face, I don't think it would be here.

Hey this was pretty fun. A nice musical rendition of a total barbarism of the English language.
Just a pointer about guitar, when your hand moves up the finger board (away from the body) the pitch gets lower, and moving down the finger board makes the pitch higher, so those solos you have should have their hands coming closer together. Just something to consider if you do some guitar stuff again.

You did the guitar solo BACKWARDS.... Moving closer to the body, the sound goes up - moving away it goes down. So if your guy was to really play that solo, it would be opposite and sound like crap! :D This really pissed me off!
And the captain's hands are supposed to move down when the zig is moving past him. I kept waiting for his hands to move down but they didn't!
And if you headbang to rock, you make yourself look like an idiot... especially if you headbang to Queen... headbanging is reserved for heavy metal.
Are the Captain's hands supposed to move down? Says who? That's not in the original animation, which I have right here. And I'm the director of this one.
