Very, very impressive. First off, you wrote a physics engine in Flash. Not an easy task. Then you added a whole bunch of effects and even some rudimentary machine learning. People who don't program don't have the slightest idea what you've accomplished. Very nice work.

a suggestion i have is to make them say random things and make random noises. kinda like how you have them put up those little sad face signs and the "ohmygodi'monfire!" sign. little things like grunts when theyre hit, and coughing and sputtering when you douse them with a hose, or crying and pleading when you have torture them with something for a long time.
just the sadist in me i guess, but what the hey?

Great Game! Some extras that I would have liked would be the ability to place a additional gravity shifter, some more medieval weapondry (bows and swords), and a skin that elminates the buddy so I can play with the physics (make my own solar system).
