Amazing
Wow I loved this. It reminded me of Silent Hill a little bit and it was just really well done. My sound card is really messed up so it goes completely silent after about 3 seconds, but even in silence, this movie is great.
needless to say though i'll say it
this may seam like an alice in wonderland rip off but it isn't the piece shows a sort of frayed mind fealing to it more than just alice in wonderland sort of things do. the the style represents the persons conciousness verry well. i can only say that about the style because i have already figured out what it's about(something i will not mention for the sake of others)the alice references are a nice touch though not quite the hint to what this is about so i leave you with this "those who own thier own souls take lives to remember who they are" -Crartonis: this is but a hint
More Melony!
Hauntingly beautiful. A demented, Alice in Wonderland, suburban/city-limits dreamscape... The art direction is brilliantly interesting. Frozen clouds of smoke bursting through buildings, dead cars sticking out of walls, fluid and interesting character design, nice music and decent voice acting to boot!
My only real problem with this entry: it's been so long since we've had a sequel! After this episode made me a fan of your work, I check your website sometimes and it seems like you're fairly busy. But I also know you've been planning quite a bit more for the Merry Melony universe and I'd hate for it to just fall by the wayside.
This desperately needs a second installment! Make it happen!
I love the Alice in wonderland reference.
I do hope you are planning to through in a curve ball or something. I figured out she was dead/in a coma the second the guy on the phone said "If you can here me... I need you back...". I did enjoy the Alice reference though, and I could definitely enjoy seeing this go that route, though I'm hoping you have something better planned. Great artwork though... I love your style.
