The main character being a devil? Not very likely, at the start when I heard she was a devil I thought "Strange, a nice little girl being a devil? Crazy talk." But when she was fighting Rabbit san that was when I actually believed that and yeah, Originally a sword or katana would useless against the dark arts of magic.
